You can be anointed – Sacrifice
Hebrews 13:15 King James Version – By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
God’s elect, to be with God demands sacrifice; without it we will just be deceiving ourselves that we are with God.
Romans 12:1 King James Version – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
The word sacrifice might not be mentioned frequently in the bible but any instance that makes you burry anything you and go for everything God is sacrifice.
Receiving or having the anointing is simply God’s power coming on a man, but that man has to burry everything himself to be able to receive the power of God, which can only be made by sacrifice.
