You Can Be Anointed – Obedience
Matthew 7:24 New International Version – “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
We spoke about hearing yesterday if one needs to be anointed, but what is the sense of hearing if not to obey that which we heard?
He is our Lord (Master) and we are His servants or disciples; the proof of discipleship and servant hood is total obedience and surrender to His Name in all endeavours.
You shall eat the good of the land when you are willing and obedient; this means the obedience must and should come from a willing heart never or not a grudgingly heart.
God’s elect, the anointing will surely come for a progressive work, which would always be given as instructions, thus when you are disobedient; there is no sense for you to be anointed in the first place.
