You Can Be Anointed – Love
John 5:20 New International Version – For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.
God’s elect, love is the greatest of all virtues (character of Christ) in the kingdom of His dear Son, Christ Jesus. Yes, John 3:16 says: for God so loved the world that He gave… this is a fact but there are some people based on their obedience to God that He takes an extra interest in their lives.
Love is the foundation of every commitment God makes to His children. Our inability to express our heartfelt love to the Father; we cannot be anointed because what will be the proof that we are going to obey Him that gave us the anointing of the Holy Ghost?
We learnt yesterday that we need the sight of our heart to be able to be anointed but we are even going to have that sight based on the love we have for Him for His love for us is always constant because He changes not.
In the scripture study, whiles the Lord was still promising the people, what He kept on mentioning was “love”.
Prayer
In the Name of Jesus, I pray that my love for God and His assignment for me will increase to the level of sacrifice, amen!
