Adoption to Sonship
Romans 8:15 New International Version – The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. [a] And by him we cry, “Abba,[b] Father.”
Throughout the Old Testament, we hear, see and know that it was only the Israelites who were the children of God but that has changed because of the promise God made to Abraham; through you shall all nations be blessed – Genesis 12:3 but this blessing came through a seed in the person of Christ Jesus, this is why you become a child of God when you believe in your heart and confess the lordship of Christ Jesus with your mouth (Romans 10:9-10).
We have learnt that at the departure of Christ Jesus, He promised us the Holy Spirit to be our teacher and leader and through Him, we have gained the adoption to sonship to be called children of God.

Confession
Hallelujah, I am a child of God, what a privilege that I am a child of God, in the Name of Jesus, hallelujah, amen!
