Debtors; Not to the Flesh

Romans 8:12 King James Version – Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

A debtor is someone who owes someone either money or something valuable. Proverbs 22:7 King James Version – The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

We are debtors but not and never to the flesh but the Spirit of Living God; we owe no allegiance to the flesh to please it in anyway but all to God through His Holy Spirit in the Name of Jesus.

The flesh is what gives the devil the gateway into the life of the believer; this is why the bible always admonishes us never to get into anything that has to do with the flesh.

To live after the flesh; we have nothing in relation to the flesh as Christians; we should be able to grow to a point where we have no deal with the flesh for whatsoever reason.

We belong to God and His Spirit in the Name of Jesus, thus everything about us should be to His consent.

Confession

In the Name of Jesus, I am a debtor to the Holy Spirit, thus, I heed to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, amen!
