Tulsi Gabbard (born April 12, 1981) is an American politician and United States Army Reserve officer who served as the U.S. Representative for Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district from 2013 to 2021. Elected in 2012(when she was 31), she was the first Hindu member of Congress and also the first Samoan-American voting member of Congress. In early February 2019 she announced her candidacy for the Democratic nomination in the 2020 United States presidential election.

Mind’s set!
Romans 8:5 New International Version – Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
Either the things of the Spirit or the things of the flesh all talks about how the mind is set. You would actually do what the mind is set to do by you. The battle field of living this Christian life is solely dependent on mind, it is the mind which would tell the body what to at what time and what and how it should be done.
This is why we are admonished to fixed our minds on the things of God or the Spirit so we can do what the Spirit of Living God needs, wants or demands us to do.
In our scripture study, Daniel purposed in his mind or heart never to defile himself as a Jew with the king’s meat or drink and the Lord by him he was able to live that victorious life which is pleasing to the Lord.

In the Name of Jesus, by the help of the Holy Ghost my mind is fixed on the things of the Holy Spirit, amen!
