Patrick Joseph Kennedy II (born July 14, 1967) is an American politician and mental health advocate. From 1995 to 2011, he served as a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from Rhode Island’s 1st congressional district(when is was just 28). He is the founder of the Kennedy Forum, a former member of the President’s Commission on Combatting Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis, and co-founder of One Mind.

What the Flesh Desires
Romans 8:5 New International Version – Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
As we keep on talking about the Holy Spirit, the contrary spirit is the flesh, self or carnality, they are directly opposite, and it means you are either in the flesh or the Spirit (righteousness; right standing with the Lord).
Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; this is simple explanation to those who live after the flesh. What are the things you set your eyes, mind or heart on, are they the things of the Spirit or the things of the flesh?
However you answer the above question should tell you, you are either in the realm of the flesh or in the realm of the Spirit.
We are from above, we are in this world though but never of this world, this world is just in the passing and temporal.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, help me to mind the things of the Spirit and never the things of the flesh by the help of the Holy Spirit, amen!
