Inspirational Nugget
Julie Andrews was born into a musical family. She first started professionally performing when she was around 12 years old.
One of the biggest breaks for the young singer came in 1948 when she was invited to be a part of a Royal Variety Performance. Royal Variety Performances always included royal attendees, and that year was no exception. Though King George VI was too ill to attend, his wife and daughter – the future Queen Elizabeth II – went to the show and got to hear Andrews sing.
At the age of 13, Andrews was the youngest performer to appear in a Royal Variety Performance at the time.

The Fruits of the Spirit – Self Control
Galatians 5:23 New International Version: gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Self-control is the ability not to respond to issues in life as they seem or are, in other words the ability to be composed and well-mannered even in worst situations.
In John 8 (see scripture study) people came to Jesus to ask what should done to a woman caught in adultery, everyone could just speak but because Jesus have self-control, He relaxed and thought through the issue before opening His mouth; that saved the woman from death because she could have been stoned and also saved Jesus Himself from an earlier before His appointed time to die because they were just looking for something to say against Him.
We are going to save ourselves of many unnecessary troubles and fight in life if we can just control ourselves for just one minute or even a second before we speak and act.
Prayer
In Jesus Name, I am a self-controlled person in all I do!
