Inspirational Nugget
Nine-year-old Yolanda Renee King invoked the famous words of her grandfather Martin Luther King, Jr. – and gave them a 2018 twist – as she spoke to the tens of thousands of protesters demanding gun control at the March for Our Lives in Washington, D.C., Saturday.
In a surprise appearance amid a series of speeches from students impacted from gun violence in Parkland, Chicago, southern California and elsewhere, Yolanda spoke on a similar platform as her grandfather did 55 years early when he inspired generations with his historic “I Have a Dream” speech at the March on Washington in 1963.

The Fruits of the Spirit – Patience
Galatians 5:22 Amplified Bible – But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness…
Psalm 105:19 Amplified Bible – Until the time that his word [of prophecy regarding his brothers] came true, the word of the Lord tested and refined him.
The word or the walk of and with God is full of promises, He will first give you His promises, then He calls you, between the promise and its fulfilment is a journey, the virtue we need in this journey is “patience” because we need to wait, not just to wait but the attitude we keep up when on the wait for the promises of the Lord.
Patience to someone or something is one of the proves of love. I pray we grow in patience in all we are called for.
Confession
I walk in the patience of the Lord Jesus, because the Holy Ghost birthed it within me as His fruits, halleluyah!
