The Fruits of the Spirit – Peace
Galatians 5:22 New International Version – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness…
Peace is one of the items that say a person or Christian is filled with the Spirit because it manifests as a fruit of the Spirit.
Peace is simply when the heart and mind is always at a relaxed position, knowing very well that God is with you. A typical example is when Christ Jesus was on the sea with His disciples and the winds were disturbing their boat, Jesus was far asleep the disciples said to one another; does He care if we die? Now, He might not because Him being the Prince of Peace on the boat, nothing would happen to them.
Negatives things will always happen around us because we are in this world but we should be able to sustain the peace of God in our hearts as a result of the fruits of the Holy Spirit because we yield our members to Him in the Name of Jesus.
Confession
In the precious Name of Jesus, the peace of God is at work in me, with the help of the Holy Spirit, amen!
