Being Filled with the Spirit – Speaking

Acts 2:4 New International Version – All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

There is no way the Spirit of the Lord will come on a person without speaking, not only speaking in tongues (will be discussed into details soon), but whatever happens, something should come from your mouth because the Spirit is resident in your heart and the bible says, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34).

Our actions and inactions, how we think, even speak and do are all out of the abundance of the heart. The heart is so delicate to the spiritual life of the Christian and to also his or her physical life; thus, when the heart has truly received the Holy Spirit, it can never help but to speak something, first acknowledging the Lord Jesus.

When the heart is now filled with the Holy Spirit, now the mouth has to speak what He impresses on the heart as we said earlier than He will receive from Jesus and give to us, then we talk it and act it.

Confession
