How to Receive the Spirit – Expectation
Proverbs 23:18 King James Version – For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.
Desire and expectation is two different things even though we can use the same scripture to express it. Expectancy is that state of mind, heart, words and even action that you are in need of something and working towards it.
Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12::2), when your eyes are focused on Him, it will have everything to do with everything about your life, in will influence how you think, talk and even act.
Same way we need and have to be in expectancy to the Spirit of the Living God with faith in our hearts, where we would begin to think about Him, talk about Him, and also act in a way just to please Him.
The Holy Spirit is a gentle Spirit, He will only come to places He is accepted, and thus your expectancy will be or is the definite invitation you throw to Him in your heart.
Prayer
Precious Holy Spirit, in the Name of Jesus, I ask for a heart that will forever seek for your person, forever.
Meditation Scripture
Revelation 22:17
