The Gifts of the Spirit – Discerning of Spirits
1 Corinthians 12:10 Amplified Bible …and to another discernment of spirits [the ability to distinguish sound, godly doctrine from the deceptive doctrine of man-made religions and cults]…
We learnt about the word of knowledge and the word of wisdom; this mainly or most of the time has to do in the domain of man, but the spirit of discernment also has to do with the human domain but mainly also in the spirit, where one would be able to know the impulses or the heart prints of the Spirit of the Lord.
It is a supernatural knowledge that brings a clear difference between two things in the spirit, example, people say they see angels, the idea we have about angels, is spirit beings with feathers, but I submit to you, there are angels with six wings (Isaiah 6:2–6) and eyes all over their bodies (Ezekiel 10:12); angels are just spirit beings, thus the knowing of them sometimes, why are they are in a place is done by the spirit of discernment.
Mainly the knowledge, understanding or the wisdom happens by the spirit of discernment, is never in any book because it about the spirit, either the Spirit of God or a contrary spirit.
Every believer needs to have this gift in his or her life; it makes things clearer to you and for you.
