Inspirational Nugget: Gintanjali Rao Scientist at age 11

Rao was named “America’s Top Young Scientist” at only 11 years old. Her invention? A low-cost method to lead detection in water. She says her work was inspired by the Flint water crisis that began in 2014, exposing thousands of residents to highly contaminated water. Not only is her invention bridging the gap in access to clean water for impoverished communities, but also fights against the stereotypes of women in STEM that further women’s under-representation in those fields.

The Gift of the Spirit – The Word of Knowledge

1 Corinthians 12: 8 King James Version – For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

Knowledge here is just the ability to know, but in this case the ability to know what has conspired in the past and what is happening in the present to be able to have a better future. Looking into the bible, the prophets could, tell about the past and why things are happening the physical and present which would by all means shape or have a better future.

A typical example is the king Hezekiah, the prophet Isaiah came to tell him about his past (word of knowledge) that would make him die in the future (word of wisdom) but Hezekiah calls on the Lord in the present(word of knowledge) and God changes His mind and adds fifteen more years to him(word of wisdom).

Thus, the gifts of God interdepend on each other; the hand cannot say it is important more than the ear and vice versa.

In the Name of Jesus, I receive the gift of the knowledge of the Holy Ghost!
