The Manifestation of the Spirit; the Fear of the Lord
Isaiah 11:2 Amplified Bible – And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him—The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and strength, The Spirit of knowledge and of the [reverential and obedient] fear of the Lord.
The fear of the Lord, this’ what seems missing in the life of believers now, but the Lord will help us restore His fear in our hearts again, in the Precious Name of Jesus! This where we have a holy fear for Him, where do not fidget with our phones while praying or in church, this is when we have complete attention to the Lord when we are in His presence.
This is when we fear sin because of His Name and word, this fear (reverence) to the Lord was what was in the heart of young Joseph when he rejected the sex proposal from Potiphar’s wife.
As soon as sin becomes a normal activity to you or you feel reluctant to go to church or be in His presence, it means the fear of the Lord has begun to dwindle in your heart.
