Inspirational Nugget: RaSia Khepra at 15
Hadiya Pendleton, 15, was killed at random by a gunman on Chicago’s South Side, a week after she performed at Barack Obama’s inauguration celebration in January. Khepra was familiar with the sounds of gunfire in his neighborhood and knew several people who had been shot, but Pendleton’s death inspired him to act.
Khepra and other Chicago teenagers created the anti-violence awareness campaign Project Orange Tree, which helps co-ordinate community activities to stimulate a conversation about the causes of gun violence and is supported by the rapper Lupe Fiasco.

The Spirit of the Lord – Inherit a Double Portion in Your Land
Isaiah 61:7 New International Version – Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.
We spoke about rejoicing in your inheritance yesterday; after you rejoice in your inheritance (the finished work of Jesus; grace), you will now have to receive a double portion of the inheritance, whenever the bible talks about something being double it simply means the complete of a or the thing.
Example, for Elisha to ask for a double portion of the anointing of Elijah, it means he’s seen something that wasn’t complete in his life, thus for him to be complete to avoid the mistakes of his father, Elijah, then he needs and demands double portion of the anointing or mantle in his life.
