Inspirational Nugget: Sylvia Mendez at 8
At 8 years old, Sylvia Mendez was instrumental in a landmark 1946 desegregation case, which helped pave the way for the civil rights movement and future integration. Mendez v. Westminster challenged the policy that Latino students like Mendez, who was of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent, couldn’t attend “whites-only schools” and had to go to so-called “Mexican schools.” Following the success of the case, Mendez became one of the first Latino children to attend a previously all-white school and grew up to become an acclaimed civil rights activist.

The Spirit of the Lord; Will Rebuild the Ancient Ruins
We have a work (Genesis 1:26-18) to do, this is why we were created and was brought on the planet earth but not Pluto, Mars or Jupiter. God’s elect, please get this, you are on earth for the work that God has for you, God’s work or ministry is not just to be a pastor or work in the church, please no, Ministry or the work of God id simply defined as “the ordained place of work for a man”, God calls people to be civil engineers (Exodus 31:1-11), to be builders (the entire book of Nehemiah in the Bible).
There are things when which are wrong in our family, we are not t complain but we are to repair it or rebuild it because the Spirit of the Lord lives within us. Jesus came to do repair something Adam and Eve spoilt, as He is, so are we in this life, thus, we are to repair or rebuild any negative thing we come in contact with.
Confession
In the Name of Jesus, I receive the heart and wisdom to be a repairer and rebuilder of broken wars, amen!
