Inspirational Nugget; Gabby Douglas, 18
Gabrielle Douglas, 18, is a Black girl on fire who inspires us all! Gabby’s life story defies the stereotypes associated with Black children being raised in a single parent home. In Lifetime’s The Gabby Douglas Story, her childhood was portrayed positively and has contributed to her national fame. At the 2012 London Summer Olympics, the U.S. Women’s Artistic gymnast won gold medals in both the team and individual all-around competitions. Gabrielle is the first woman of color of any nationality and the first African-American gymnast in Olympic history to become the Individual All-Around Champion. She is also the first American gymnast to win gold in both the gymnastic individual all-around and team competitions at the same Olympic Games.

The Manifestation of Spirit; the Spirit of the Lord
Isaiah 11:2, Amplified Bible – And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him…
The Spirit of the Lord or the Spirit of Lordship or Master-ship over the believers’ life. This makes it possible for the Holy Ghost to guide you and teach you things to come and all truth. Lord simply means Master, thus, when we yield to the Holy Spirit for Him to be Lord over our lives, He will truly be, this is when we would begin to command results as fruitful Christians or children of the Lord.
As you become a Christian or believer, He’s already your Lord, but submitting to His Lordship is another ball game all together, we are never sufficient of ourselves, because He is our sufficiency. We have to walk with this mind-set, to allow the Holy Spirit to truly be the Lord of our lives.
Confession
In the Name of Jesus, I submit my life to the Lordship of the Holy Ghost!
