Inspirational Nugget: Quvenzhané Wallis @ 5
Quvenzhané stole hearts at the tender age of five for her leading role as Hushpuppy in Beasts of the Southern Wild. This role scored her a spot in history as the youngest actress ever to receive a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress. Wallis is also the first African-American child actor to earn an Oscar nomination. Since then, the young Louisiana born beauty has starred in Steve McQueen’s 12 Years a Slave (along with Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lupita Nyong’o, Samuel L. Jackson, and Brad Pitt) and in Sundance short film Boneshaker.

The Fruits of the Spirit – Self-Control
Galatians 5:23; Amplified Bible, Classic Edition – …self-control (self-restraint, continence)
Self-control is a great virtue we need to admire and cultivate if only we need and want to fulfill the glorious destiny we have in Christ Jesus, we need not to talk all the time, we need to react to issues all the time, we need not to sleep just because it a sleeping time, we just need not to eat because the food is in front of us, we need not to spend because we have the cash at our disposal, we need just not to watch just anything because we are left alone with the television set, we need not just to surf anything on the internet because we have the machines and data, no, that shouldn’t be that, we need to control every aspect of our lives, Apostle Paul said, we have the right to everything about not all things are important(1 Corinthians 10:23)
Confession
I receive the grace to control myself in all that I say and do in Jesus Name, amen!
