Inspirational Nugget: Amariyanna (Mari) Copeny

Flint, Michigan, has been without clean water for over four years. In 2016, at just 8 years old, Mari Copeny wrote a letter to President Obama, asking him to meet with Flint activists in Washington, D.C. President Obama instead visited Flint directly, and in the years since, Copeny has continued to raise awareness for the Flint Water Crisis and bring joy, resources, and community to the kids of Flint. In 2017, she partnered with Pack Your Back and raised $10,000, contributing school supplies and 1,000 backpacks to Flint students. That same year, the partnership also raised $13,000 to provide toys and games to kids in Flint for the holidays.

The Person of the Holy Spirit – He is the Fire of God

Matthew 3:11, King James Version  – …He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire…

Every time the fire of God comes, what precedes it is the Holy Ghost because He is the custodian of the fire of God. The fire of God is what comes to purify us and consecrate us for the Master’s use. Without the fire of God, there will be no difference in our lives and that of the world.

The Holy Ghost is a gentle personality, He never comes where He is not invited, but when He is invited to make something good in the life of a believer, what He brings to separate us or to make things better is His fire.

Prayer

In the Name of Jesus, I pray to receive the fire of the Holy Ghost now, to keep me on fire for Jesus, amen!
