Inspirational Nugget: Thandiwe Abdullah, 15
As a co-founder of the Black Lives Matter LA Youth Vanguard, Abdullah has become one of her generation’s most powerful voices on issues relating to social justice. Thandiwe has advocated for black youth in front of half a million people during the Women’s March in Los Angeles and written a widely shared op-ed for Bustle that addressed the need for inter-sectionalism within the Never Again MSD movement. Through the Youth Vanguard, Abdullah also helped create “Black Lives Matter in Schools,” a program that aims to end the policing and profiling that black and brown students experience; its agenda was recently adopted this summer by the National Education Association.

Being at peace with all men
Hebrews 12:14 (NIV) – Make every effort to live in peace with everyone…
Peace is just the state of the mind that has no worry about the self and even with others. To be at peace with people demands work from us as believers. Work means work, which will not come on a silver platter. But we are the people to initiate it.
Whatever you do in life, people will envy you for no reason, you will be insulted, humiliated and lied about, cheated and any other thing bad thing a man can do to his fellow man.
Our God is a wise God, He knew all this but still said, we should make every effort to live in peace with every man, even our enemies.
We can say we love God that we can’t see and still hate men, that is impossible. Sweetheart, I am not saying this would come on a silver platter, but the Lord is our helper.

Lord Jesus, help to be at peace with everyone.
