Consecration

Hebrews 10:19 – 20 – 21st Century King James Version (KJ21) 19 Having, therefore, boldness, brethren, to enter into the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living Way, which He hath consecrated for us through the veil (that is to say, His flesh), …

Consecration here is simply setting apart, or washing us or by some means making us holy before our God.

Yes indeed, by the death of Christ Jesus and by His blooding washing a Christian or a believer, we are washed, set apart and have been made holy to our God – that is the nature of a believer.

We are set aside, that is why the bible says that we are in this world but never of this world. It is two things here, we are in this world simply means we exist this world but “to be of this world” means we are part of this world through the way we think, talk and even behave.

The born again experience goes far beyond this physical body or world but it should reflect in this our physical world.

We need to believe, realize and begin to see that we are a special people.

Confession

Praise the Lord Jesus, that I am consecrated by the high calling of Christ Jesus by Holy Spirit through the blood of Jesus, amen!
