Hebrews 8:12 Amplified Bible (AMP) – “For I will be merciful and gracious toward their wickedness, And I will remember their sins no more.”
The human race, keeps on sinning every year, month, week, hour, minute, second and even every millisecond – looking at our thought pattern alone, how come God is saying, He’s not going to remember our sins? How amazing and surprising this statement is!
Hmm, in fact, that is the state of the believer before God, He remembers no sin of us.
Sweetheart, God is our example because He created us in His Own Image. He does not remember our sins because of the love He has for us through Christ Jesus.
Why then, do you remember the date of that thing that boy or girl, even our parents did to us? If we are really walking in love, then we need not keep a record of the wrongs people do to us.
I am not saying, it comes on a silver platter or easily, but that is the word of the Lord to us. We shouldn’t be recording or keeping on mind the wrongs, people has done to us, that means we are not walking in love, love forgets wrongdoings.
Sweetheart, some of the things are disheartening or tough, hm, I know but please say this simple prayer with me:
Sweet Lord Jesus, search my heart, make known to me that wrongdoing I have to forgive and forget, so I will be able to have a fresh walk with You again, Jesus I thank, and I say, I love You, so much because you first loved me.
