Envy is simply an ill feeling, negative thought or action because of the good or betterment of a friend or any person at all.

1 Corinthians 13:4 New International Version (NIV) – It does not envy, …

Love loves, it doesn’t envy, it is always joyous when a person is doing good or having progress in life.

There was a time in the bible when Christ Jesus sent his seventy-two apostles out for work, and they come back with good news or victory. Jesus never said anything negative but He rather was happy for them – (Scripture Ref – Luke 10:1-23).

John 14:12 New International Version – Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father.

Is it not amazing how Jesus the Master Himself spoke in the above scripture? That is a man without envy, but full of love. Love is when you are happy someone has something when don’t have. Love is when you are able to give your time and resources to make others better. Love is when you are truly and truly happy for people when they do good in life.

Instead of envying people, which is not in the bible, let’s rather be humble, to pray and ask people of their successes so when can learn from them.

Confession

Christ and Master Jesus, I thank You, I thank You that I am created in the Image of God, thus, I have the very Nature of God, which is Love, so I walk in love from now on ways.
