Colossians 3:3 Amplified Bible (AMP) – For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.
I had a female friend in church, who would always, say: “before you can kill me or hurt me unless you hurt God or Christ before you can get to me”. I never understood her until I found this scripture in the bible.

Look at the image, the man hiding the gift, no one has the eye to see what is behind him unless he brings it to his front intentionally.
Sweetie, same way, our lives are hidden with Christ in God like how you will intentionally hide something from someone.
God loves us so much that He doesn’t want any harm to happen to us. Well, there are people who always say and ask, if that is true, why are bad things happening to good people or Christians? Well, who are you to judge or conclude if and when a person is good or not? Well, you might see them always doing good or running in church, you can never know and tell their personal relationship with God or their faith with God. It takes a personal relationship with God and a personal faith in God to escape the things people suffer negatively in this life.
I know men, that guns and acids, don’t penetrate their bodies because they believe in God.
One little girl was in a fire in a house I lived before, the mother run away and left her in the room because of the fire, I entered the room, brought the little girl out, without fire touching my body – that is the God we serve, sweetheart, believe Him and He will protect you and your entire family.
