Psalm 90:12 King James Version (KJV) – So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Sweetheart, I am twenty-nine years old now, as I’m typing this devotional. I just see my teenage years like just an hour ago, how soon did time fly. I can remember vividly now, how I used to misbehave with my guardians and even at school.

Sweetheart, let me tell you the gospel fact, you have no time at all. Life never gets simpler but gets more complicated as the days grow, you can ask any elderly person. I am not talking out of faith here, I am a man of faith.

Use this time of your life to plan, use this time of your life to gather knowledge, use this time of your life to build a good relationship with God, family and some important people.

Use this time to prepare for your career. If you are not a footballer or don’t want to know anything about football, why spend two hours on it a day?

Why are you watching that TV series every day of your life for an hour? Bae, you are just wasting your time, number your days and know what is or what should be important to you now, you are a teenager.

Get glued to the bible, prayer – the things of God, your books, and get some good books about life or people with some great achievements, either or not in the area of your career, you would be blessed.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I thank You, for giving wisdom, to be able to number my days, so I can apply my heart unto wisdom, amen!
