Matthew 5:14 New International Version (NIV) – “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
Did Jesus really say, we are the light of the world? Yes, He did, look at our opening scripture again.
Jesus said, we are the light of the world doesn’t mean we carry the white bulb on our foreheads but it simply means that we are to bring good and positive things whenever we appear at a place or an environment.
Is the government of your nation bad? Sweetheart, never join the people to criticize them, because that is not going to solve the problem, you are the light in that nation, rather, say, pray and confess that you are the light, so what should be done to solve that problem? When you begin to talk and act this way, that is when you are truly appearing or living like the light of the world as Jesus called us.
Whichever place you find yourself, the church, school, home, playing ground, know that you are the light over there, so do well to walk in that understanding, that will compel you to talk and behave as such.
That is how God has made you on earth. When He needed someone to look over His creation, He created man, when He needs a person to solve a problem, He calls someone He’s trained and called.
Same way, that negative or black situation, at that place, God is expecting you to be the light or positive thing to happen to it.
Confession
I am the light of the world, God, the all wisdom One, lives in the inside of me. I walk in the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of Jehovah – Hallelujah!
