Galatians 1:10 King James Version (KJV) – For do I now persuade men or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
Colossians 1:16 New International Version (NIV) – For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
Sweetheart, our opening scripture talks about us pleasing and living for the Lord only. The second one talks about everything and all things, with and without name revolving around the life of Him – Christ Jesus.
This calls us to a place to live a life just pleasing to Him and Him alone. We are on earth for the Lord and Him alone.
He created man in His own image just to do what pleases Him, unfortunately, Adam missed the mark but fortunately, Christ Jesus came to reconcile us to God, so we’ll be able to please Him again.
Sweetheart, we were created, formed and brought into this world to please the Lord in all that we do and say.
All about God is about man, the same way, all about man is also about God. We were created, formed and brought into this life to please Him alone.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for coming to die for me, to reconcile me to God, so I can live a life which is pleasing unto Him and Him alone, Sweet Jesus, I love You and I thank You so much, hallelujah!
