Ephesians 4:29 Amplified Bible (AMP) – Do not let unwholesome [foul, profane, worthless, vulgar] words ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear [you speak].
Ephesians 4:29 Christian Standard Bible – No foul language should come from your mouth, but only what is good for building up someone in need so that it gives grace to those who hear.
Let your words minister grace to its hearers – Grace is simply defined as, the personality of Christ Jesus or the finished work of Christ Jesus.
So, if Christ brought healing to the souls or emotions of men, why do you talk to bring people down or sad?
Sweetheart, your words should build people up, your words should encourage someone who hears, your words should give people life. People should always be willing to hear you speak because you always give them hope in life.
If even someone misbehaves, and is disciplined, well, they deserve it anyway, but when such a person comes to you, you don’t condemn the person and say, “I told you, stubborn boy, foolish, don’t come close to me”, rather you say, “Oh sorry dear, but please don’t do it again, I know you are a good person.”
Just keep on talking to people like this and see how people will always be around you.
Confession
Christ Jesus, your grace through the Precious Holy Spirit is available to me to build and empower people with my words, I walk in this grace, amen!
