James 4:17 Amplified Bible (AMP) – So any person who knows what is right to do but does not do it, to him it is sin.
Sweetheart, Righteousness is just having a right standing with the Lord Jesus, same way sin is also just missing the mark or a stance with the Lord.
Sin is an environment same way; righteousness is also an environment. The Christian is a Christian but not a sinner but we miss the mark on many occasions that make us commit sin but that does not make us sinners, because the environment of sin is in the domain or environment of satan and you know we are of God so we are in the domain or environment of God.
So in as much as we are in the domain or environment of God, let us talk and act as we truly belong to that environment or domain.
Let us not continue to be missing the mark. Many at times, we know when we are sinning (missing the mark).
As our opening scripture says, he who knows good and doeth it not, to him it is sin. Someone might be abusing people with words or insulting because of his or her upbringing, and to him, it is a normal thing but you like a bible student, you don’t follow to just insult people because you know it is wrong for a believer of a Christian to be abusing people with words.
Example, throughout scripture, God loves sacrifice but, He denied or rejected King Saul of the old testament because of the same sacrifice, why? To him, that knows good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Lord Jesus, I thank You for keeping me from sin or missing the mark and the standard you have set for me, I am empowered by the Holy Spirit to overcome sin, Amen!
