Ephesians 6:18 King James Version (KJV) – Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, …

We’ve studied prayer some few weeks ago. What do I mean by praying in the Spirit? Praying in the spirit simply means prayer that is inspired by the Holy Spirit, which in many cases is praying in new tongues.

You might enter your prayer closet, being the church, or personal prayer to pray about maybe your academics or something specific, but whiles you pray, you feel in your heart, that Holy Spirit is leading you to pray for your nation, teacher or even parent. Please never and don’t hold back, yield to or obey the voice of the Spirit.

Many times, when you pray in new tongues or in the language of the spirit, just pray, as and when you are inspired to speak words in your understanding or your local language you just do.

When and if you don’t pray in tongues, never worry, as you reading this devotional now, pause and ask “In the Name of Jesus, Sweet Precious Holy Spirit, I ask that You give me the gift of the Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, thank You and I love You”.

That’s all sweetheart, open your mouth to thank Him, some strange words will be coming to you, don’t and never hold back, just speak it, that is it – tongues or the language of the Spirit.

Sweet Precious Spirit of the Living God, I thank You for the power, energy and the impetus to pray in the spirit on a daily basis.
